Job Summary Manages and supervises all Supply Chain activities (i.e. Transport management, logistics and distribution, warehousing) of the business area and ensures the delivery of Imerys clients on time and in full, in compliance to Imerys internal protocols and country regulatories.KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESOptimizes the distribution network, production planning cycle, inventory management and logistics flows to ensure customer delivery at the best costManages freight and transportation contracts in link with purchasing teams. Handle relationship with logistics subcontractorsSet departmental budget/metric and lead the entire team members to achieve the performance metricsAccountable for optimizing the logistics and planning P&L across his perimeter. Reduce in-country main variable costs (transport & shipping optimization, wastage reduction, efficient operating method, services, capex categories) with Total Cost of Ownership approachAnticipates key delivery issues across his/her perimeter by permanently ensuring the match of delivery forecast to logistics capabilitiesImplements the right continuous improvement actions to professionalize and homogenize the supply chain function across the BA in link with group methodologies and support functionsEnsures efficient sharing of information between Operations and Sales within the BA about procurement, inventory management (in link with operations) and fleet availability. Proactively identify areas for improvement and proposes solutions and actions to the management. Contribute to working capital improvement. Bring market and regulatory knowledge and ideas with continuous research for improvements of current process.Is accountable for the OTIF and customer satisfaction, consistently and promptly input data required for country S&OP processIdentify, implement and homogenize the relevant tools for the Supply Chain population on-siteKey interfaces: strong partnership to be built with (i) Operations, (ii) Sales, (iii) S&OP; (iv) Purchasing; (v) Finance; (vi) IT (vii) LegalJOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation: Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Business/Logistics/Other DisciplineTypical Profile:At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, related fieldIndustrial experience preferred with knowledge in ERP System, management, supply chain relevant regulations, customer order, freight and contract execution Dynamic, hard worker, open minded & result oriented Good interpersonal skills with ability to work in cross functional and regional team environment and able to build good relationship with suppliers and stakeholders.
