Sea Life® Education & Entertainment Assistant

Responsible for promoting and delivering entertaining, educational and marina conservation presentations, workshops, experiences and information to guests to enhance the guest experience whilst delivering the very best in guest service.- Provide a first class service to all guests in all customer facing areas, to ensure you demonstrate a clear commitment to being 100% guest-focused, ensuring that guests needs and expectations are met and you are delivering against key business KPI's.- Supporting the operation by following the daily schedule provided by the Team Leader at the start of each shift.- Carry out departmental duties while ensuring the safety of all customers and staff at all times.- To deal with any basic customer service issues or enquiries independently, confidently.- To ensure your area of work is presented to the agreed standards at all times.- Develop an understanding of the SLCM site and be knowledgeable of the marine life and displays, ensuring that all daily paperwork is completed.- Provide accurate and educational information to all guests, ensuring all guests are educated on marine conservation, BRP and SEA LIFE's core values when in the attraction and that this is promoted in an interactive, informative and entertaining way.- Support the education and conservation strategy through ensuring all talks, workshops and school sessions promote SLCM commitment to education, marine conservation and the SEA LIFE Brand.- Assisting where necessary with seasonal events in conjunction with the Entertainment and Education Team Leaders.**Requirements**:- **Minimum Degree in Marine Biology/ Fisheries or any related fields**:- 1 year of experience within a customer or guest service related field.- Knowledge of cash handling and/or inventory/sales auditing, and of point of sale automated systems is helpful.- Ability to work effectively with others with effective communication skills required.- Self-motivated and demonstrated initiative.- Strong problem solving skills and dedicated to providing outstanding Guest Service required.- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Meal provided- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)
