We have much room for improvement and many ideas that will further shape the industry.We are looking for a competent Security Supervisor to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff, goods and equipment. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behaviorOperationTo assist Security Manager to manage the overall security related issuesSupervise and oversee security functions in an organization.Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers.Train and schedule programs and functions to security guards with the assistance of Security Team LeaderEvaluate, assess and analyze performance of security guardsInitiate disciplinary measures wherever necessary.Keep the premises free from all kinds of dangers.Maintain all security devices and products in good working condition.Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts and other risks.Ensure compliance of applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures.Responsible for CCTV review and lost investigations.Monitor and supervise security assistant and supervisor on securing the warehouse.Monitor and identify any illegal activities..Adhere to all company policies and operating standards.Reporting MethodReports to the Security Manager on a daily basis.Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, present and unusual occurrencesGive feedback to Security Manager about incident/issues immediatelyAssist Security Manager or Security Team Leader in any special project or ad hoc assignments.RequirementsGood analytical and communication skillsConceptual thinkerExcellent negotiation and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast paced environment.Comfortable managing grey areasCompetency in Computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint) or Google Drive (Docs, Sheets & Slides)Professional fluency in English and Bahasa MalaysiaCandidate must possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Certificate or Diploma in any fieldPossess own transport and willing to travel (not heavy)At least 5 years as a Security Guard or 2 year in Team Leader level or 1 year as Security Supervisor/Officer
