Senior Accountant

About our client:This company is a well-known MNC in the energy industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a senior accountant to be based in Petaling Jaya to support the senior management, and the country's finance team.Your key responsibilities includes:Take charge of full spectrum finance, including closing, reporting, advisory for regional company.Responsible for preparation of financial statements for regional entities compliant to IFRS.Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership complianceCo-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirementsLead/support projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineeringSupport on audits, statutory reporting and taxThe ideal candidate should have:Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)A minimum of 4 years in Big 4 or Big 10Exposure in oil & gas, energy, property and construction industy will have added advantage.Excellent knowlege in IFRS15Experience using SAP systemStrong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
