Senior Chargeman (Shopping Mall)

Job Description Responsible for the mall?s overall electrical system, planning, operate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and repair works including servicing of the 11 KV HV transformer and inspection and monitoring of HV & LV switchgear.
Lead and supervise maintenance team, planning, controlling and coordinating all maintenance works for the mall and other investment properties.
Carry out weekly generators and fire pumps test run.
Responsible to ensure compliance of Electrical Supply Act and Regulation and any instruction / guidelines from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
Liaise with utilities provider and regulatory bodies such as JKKP, Bomba, TNB and Suruhanjaya Tenaga on compliance issues.
Engage or appoint suitable contractors, service providers and consultants to maintain all the equipment or installations and for provision of services and to ensure their good quality performances.
Prepare annual maintenance budget and create contingency plan for fault and temporary usage of electricity.
Job Requirements:-
Candidate must be holding an BO or higher Chargeman Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
Preferable 3 to 5 year(s) of electrical maintenance experience in mall or high rise building.
A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and has a high concern for safety.
Good interpersonal and managerial skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision and independently.
Able to work on shift, weekends and public holidays.
