Position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Job Responsibilities: The position is responsible for the management of customer service & logistics for Malaysia and Singapore business and dealing with inter-plant and co-man. The role must be able to perform end-to-end order fulfillment include order processing, shipment and delivery within the SOP. The role is also expected to have hands on experience dealing with escalation, to facilitate resolution and excellent cross functional co-ordination is required.
Inbound and Drop Shipments Responsible for order fulfillment activities including customer order entry, prepare & EDI purchase order, shipment scheduling, and invoicing. Follow up on order acknowledgement with Shipper, and communicate to the customer on order fulfillment issue eg. shortage/BBD and work closely with the customer to mitigate the sales risk. Track orders, and co-ordinating with Shippers for status of shipment and provides visibility of potential risk to the customers. Follow up with Suppliers to ensure the shipping documents are available as per S&OP, verify and ensure the completeness and accuracy of documents, and forward to Operation team for customs clearance. Co-ordinate closely with Operation team to ensure the FCL or LCL shipments are delivered to the customers as requested. Execute, co-ordinate and ensure the customer orders are aligned with the monthly sales projection. Assist in setup and maintain customer master data eg new product/new ship-to address to be added/updated in the System prior to EDI. Responsible to close the outstanding PO and SO in the system by each month-end closing. Prepare, update and send weekly sales report to the Sales department. Handle customer enquiry and complaint. Responsible for proper filing of documentation per Audit requirements. Outbound Shipments Assist superior on Project activities including business development, and product packaging development. A positive attitude towards continuous improvement. Explore ideas and participate in discussions on improving work efficiency, productivity, cost effectiveness and process improvement. Work closely with related stakeholders towards achievement of department goals. Other related logistics duties as assigned Key Requirements For Successful Applicant: Possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any field or minimum of 2 years of working experience. Computer literate is a must Good written & verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin would be an added advantage. Maintains a positive attitude and able to work under pressure Ability to multi-task and prioritise work based on delivery schedule and urgent/adhoc demand. Time management with sense of urgency. Proactive, flexible, willingness to learn, ability to work with all levels of staff and various functions. Shipment, Customer Service, Edi, Order Processing, Documentation, Delivery, Logistics
