SENIOR DATA JOURNALIST / PR AND COMMUNICATION MANAGER - STUDIO SELECT A RUBRIC About us Who we are Our history Key figures Management Values Taking responsibility Privacy & Data Protection Online Data Quality Matters Investors Careers PR & Communications Manager/ Data Journalist • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the press office function – reactive and proactive activity.• Leading a media relations strategy for the APEC team in partnership with marketing and communications leads• Organising journalist briefings/pitches• An active member of the editorial planning team, proactively suggesting topics and content that will drive media coverage.• Project managing the ideation and delivery of regular polling for PR purposes• Working alongside the APEC Studio to bring our insights and storytelling to love in a visually impact way.• Overseeing the smooth running of our cuttings and provide regular reports/analysis• Working closely with the marketing and communication team members, as well as key stakeholders in the business to advise on media relations tactics, messaging and positioning to ensure content is delivering against business and marketing objectives. • Supporting spokespeople across the business in briefings and article writing. • Managing the Communications and Research ExecutiveRequirements :-• Proven track record in identifying and communicating compelling stories, ideally from data. • Excellent understanding of media relations and adapting content across multiple platforms.• Strong interpersonal skills, creative problem solving and a 'hands-on' approach to providing and implementing PR solutions to drive success.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis on copy-writing.• A curious mind and a desire to seek out a story. • Ability to exercise professional judgment and assume responsibility for decisions.• Team player attitude, with the ability to demonstrate and encourage commitment and enthusiasm.• Flexible, responsive, good follow through.Interested applicants, kindly email your resume to ****** seek your understanding that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
