What we're doing
With us, you’ll experience interesting, challenging and varied work. You will be part of the Data Services squad responsible for developing data science solutions and insights with main focus on machine learning/AI algorithm, data pipeline and analytics solution. You will drive cloud based ML pipeline architectures design to enable streaming analytics and scaling beyond our current terabyte-level capabilities and develop rest APIs to expose analytics data to be consumed by products. Your ability to tune high-performance data pipelines will help us to rapidly deploy some of the latest machine learning algorithms/frameworks and other advanced analytical techniques at scale.
The Senior Data Scientist supports the Data Engineering Development team in the following ways:
+ Data Science Solution Architecting
+ ML/AI research and model development
+ ML and Data Pipeline Developer for operationalization
+ Data Quality Assurance
+ Scheduling and Automation of ML/Data Pipelines
+ ML/Data API development /integration framework with Product
+ Ensure good integrity in deliverables via diligent testing and verification
+ Ensure timeliness and quality of solutions delivered
+ Work with Data Engineering, Business and Digital Stakeholders to understand business and deliver data science solutions.
+ Participate in the end to end process for the strategic plans for data solution development – planning, execution & evaluation.
+ Use Machine Learning and Stats to find business Insights/trends/patterns from data
**Who we’re looking for**
+ 5-10 years of experience working in data science/ data engineering/ software development.
+ Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or similar highly desirable.
+ Expert skills in ML/AI Solution development on Cloud and perform for large scale digital and transactional data ingestion.
+ Expert skills in data model and architecture design.
+ Expert skills in SQL and Python programming language.
+ Expert skills in real time data streaming technologies.
+ Expert skills in micro-services/API development and continuous delivery.
+ Skills in Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, AppEngine, DataFlow would be added advantage.
+ Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders across the Asia region in multiple countries and markets.
+ Work in highly collaborative team environment.
