Senior Engineer, Pre Sales

-Work closely with customers to understand users’ requirements in providing pre-sales technical consultancy that include data networking, voice, internet, data centre solution (Co-location, backup solution, disaster recover), and value-added services-Act as main liaison between the professional services division and sales team-Creating and calculating client’s costs-Create and deliver technical proposal and documentation that can address customer requirement and caters for high performance, scalability and high availability-Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs-Helping and provide suggestion in the design of custom-made solutions-Able to explain the proposed solution’s features, benefits and uniqueness in an articulate manner-Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs-Developing long term relationship with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements-Providing presales technical assistance and product education, and after sales support services-Product Development – Continuously review industry trend and client feedback to anticipate future market needs-Undertake ad-hoc assignments when required.
-You must possess at least Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent-At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in telco industry-Able to work independently with minimal supervision-Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills-Good command of both English and Malay (written and verbal)-A fast learner and constantly research on new technologies-Able to work under pressure-Team player with strong analytical skill and positive work attitude-Good knowledge and hand on experience in IP routings and switching technologies-Strong networking and technical background in IT
