Job DescriptionPeople Department GeneralistYour role as a People Department Generalist will be far from one-dimensional.You'll undertake a wide range of People Department tasks, like organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies.You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential.And you'll also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on People Department-related topics.The goal is to ensure the People Department's operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.ResponsibilitiesAssists and manages the talent acquisition and recruitment processesConducts employee onboarding and help plan training & development Administers compensation and benefit plansConducts timekeeping audits with a highly basis to ensure the accuracy of our financial statementsIdentifies irregularities in our system, including possible fraud and theft, and report them to our People Department ManagerAssesses our staffing needs and track time-to-hire and recruiting costs, including expenditures on sourcing, advertising, and onboardingEvaluates the training needs, manages our training budget, and monitors the allocation of resources to our training and development programsAssists on overseeing the cost-effectiveness of our onboarding process, workshops, and other learning programsMonitors that all expenditures are within our budget, compile spending reports, and allocate resources to specific HR programs as instructed by our People Department Head.Requirements7+ years of experience in an HR Officer/Generalist roleBachelor's degree on Psychology, Human Resource Management of anything related to Understanding of general human resources policies and proceduresGood knowledge of employment/labor lawsOutstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems ( PeopleSoft) will be a plusStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in both spoken and written EnglishDesire to work as a team with a results driven approach.Proven experience as an HR GeneralistUnderstanding of general human resources policies and proceduresAptitude in problem-solvingDesire to work as a team with a results driven approachAdditional HR training will be a plus We are all different - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.At AirAsia, you will be treated fairly and given all chances to be your are committed to creating a diverse work environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
