Key Responsibilities:
Participate in month-end GL (general ledger) close related to Business Banking, Treasury, Insurance and Payroll and reporting of entity’s results to Corporate. Provide R2R transaction in processing support and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness on a daily basis. Responsible in the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, review of journal entries and execution of internal control in accordance with GSK Internal Control Framework. Review and post Standard Monthly Journal (JDE/SAP may differ). BISON confirmation commentaries and review. Perform analytical review of profile and loss accounts and balance sheet, trend analysis, cost centre checks and transaction posting checks. Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end close. Responsible for the financial reporting of the designated business units. Provide guidance and on-the-job trainings to analyst members within the team. Work with Global Process Owner, Cooperate Treasury and Cooperate Insurance Risk Management to standardise R2R activities. Working with PIE (Process Improvement Expert) on process standardization across APAC region. Co-ordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with TAX/FBPs to get relevant information for analyst to post the journals. Ensure all Journals are posted by Analysts based on month end close checklist (MEC). Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with :
Bachelor’s degree / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountants/ACCA certified Experience in Pharma Supply Chain Production accounting processes and performance management systems Experience with manufacturing/accounting systems like SAP, Bison or Cognos software systems Ability to effectively manage time and resources against agreed deadlines for activities Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions Flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude to ensure that task is achieved. Ability to converse in Mandarin will be added advantage.
