Job Description
As a senior full stack developer, design and develop web based systems that combine great user experiences and strong engineering under the hood.
We work with various technologies depending on the client and project. Typical technologies that we utilize in our development include, but are not limited to: Vue.js, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Candidates should possess strong skills in both frontend and backend development.
This is an mid to senior level position.
Responsibilities
As a software engineer, your job will involve significant collaboration with other team members including the mobile development and design team. You must be passionate about web services, apps, software development practices, and technology in general. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for our projects.
Requirements
4+ years of a mix of frontend and backend development experience.
Demonstrable passion in full stack development.
Focused on continuous knowledge seeking and improvement.
Critical thinkers that are able to analyze and break down problems into manageable components.
Strong attention to detail.
You must be able to communicate and work well with others.
Frontend Skills
Strong knowledge and experience with frontend fundamentals: HTML5, Bootstrap/CSS, JS.
Strong knowledge and experience with one or more web oriented development language: JS, TypeScript, PHP, Ruby, or other.
Strong knowledge and experience in at least one frontend framework: React, Vue.js, Angular, or other.
Experience utilizing various third party frameworks and libraries.
Backend Skills
Strong knowledge and experience with developing RESTful APIs.
Strong knowledge and experience with one or more backend development stacks: NodeJS + Express, PHP + Laravel, Spring Boot, Rails, or similar.
Strong knowledge and experience with one or more of PostgreSQL, MySQL or other relational database.
Strong knowledge and experience with one or more cloud infrastructure providers: AWS, GCP, Azure.
Strong knowledge and experience with integration with various types of third party services.
Experience utilizing various third party backend frameworks and libraries.
Advantages
Experience with content management systems: Drupal, Wordpress.
Experience with NoSQL databases
