About the RoleIn line with policies/procedures and under instructions/control of a manager, to perform assigned inventory/shipping activities with large complexity to ensure continuous and reliable inventory and shipping services.What to Expect:Perform and follow up inventory/shipping activities with large complexity within agreed service level, such as handling receipts, order required materials, monitoring and maintaining stock levels, preparing, processing and coordinating shipments and deliveryIdentify, analyse and resolve problems. Assist peers in problem solving, reporting to manager complex problems.Liaise with internal/external customers/suppliers to agree details regarding services to deliver and to supervise the quality of work delivered by external parties.Provide adequate reports to the team leader, identify and propose, in consultation with the manager, recommendations for improvements of existing processes and service levels.Maintain/control correct updating of databases and documentation (eg. : product catalogue. . . )Liaise with international customs authorities on recurring import, export and tax legislations.What will make you successful?At least 3-5 years of experience required, of which 5 years as logistics technician in the assigned area.Follows instructions and obtains clarification where required; makes decision in accordance to established procedures usually on predictable or recurrent issues.
