Lead the insights team in generating, managing and disseminating consumer/ shopper insights to shape marketing strategy and drive business growth.Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of insights/research programmes & projectsDistil insights to shape brand, communications, sales, channel and innovation strategiesInterpret and analyze research data (both primary & secondary) with timely and relevant data to provide value-added and actionable insights to key stakeholdersDefine Company-wide standards/ KPIs to measure performance related to consumer insights e.g. market shareProvide insights on local trends, competitor' activities and market outlook; and their relations to sales/market share performanceEnable the data-driven decisions via influential and impactful insightsEffectively manage vendor/agency relationships to establish effective business partnershipsPreparation & presentation of regular market updates to various stakeholders; assist in preparation of board file, commercial papers etc.Conduct training / sharing sessions with relevant parties to build capabilities in understanding of insightsSupplier management and relationship-building for continuous delivery of quality work & client service Requirements: Degree holder, with background in Marketing/ CommunicationsMinimum 10-12 years relevant working experience, preferably in FMCG industryStrong knowledge in research concepts, methodologies, analysis and sampling methodsFamiliarity with Nielsen, brand health tracker, campaign tracker and ad tracker (on top of other ad-hoc/customized researches)Strong leadership and coaching skillsAbility to articulate, communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholdersHighly numerate and solution-drivenExperienced in various types of market research methodologies for brand positioning, communication testing and NPD/innovation testingTechnology-savvy and has a penchant for finding innovative ways of solving problems
