Your Job We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and implementing various projects aimed at optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse current processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity and quality. Our Team You will be reporting to Sr Operation Manager. What You Will Do * Lead and manage industrial engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. * Lead plant wide capacity mapping to ensure operation capacity is always challenged and declared at the optimum level * Conduct time and motion studies, analyze production data, and develop strategies to streamline manufacturing processes and improve workflow efficiency. * Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, including lean manufacturing techniques, automation, and process optimization. * Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and consistency. * Utilize statistical analysis and modelling tools to forecast production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource allocation. * Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials to ensure consistent and efficient operations. * Working with operation team in lay out optimization to optimize production floor efficiency and effectiveness * Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and production staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. * Stay current with industry trends and best practices in industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, and process optimization. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred * Min 5 years of experience in industrial engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. What Will Put You Ahead * Proven track record of successfully leading and executing industrial engineering projects, delivering measurable results in cost savings, efficiency improvements, and quality enhancements. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Project management experience, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management. * Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques and proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
