Senior Process Engineer

Job summary
Location: Based in KL, Malaysia and Jakarta, IndonesiaContract Type: Indonesia - 1 year (extendable) , Malaysia - PermanentWillingness to travel to site location if required
Responsibilities
• Guide and / or lead the process design team to implement and complete the process systems FEED and Detail Design work• Review and approve the process bidding documents, specifications, data sheet, FEED design verification and calculation reports, and raise optimization proposals• Approval of or advise on various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports etc. and providing necessary process inputs to the other disciplines• Advise or approve the solutions related to process technical questions from Client, Owner and a Third party, and solve the process problems during construction and installation stages
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years oil & gas or chemical plant design relevant working experiences• Degree or Master holder of Chemical or oil & gas process engineering discipline• Proven experience in conversion and newbuilding of FPSO/FSO/FPU/MOPU Topside process engineering with at least 1 EPC project• Familiar with ASME/API/ NACE /Norsok and ABS/DNV/BV etc standards & rules• Proficient in Aspen Hysys or Pro/II programs , knowledge of PipeNET / Flow Master / FlareSim and Aveva Diagram / SP P&ID etc. (preferable)• Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills• Decisive, independent and good attitude• Good capabilities in speaking and writing English and able to speak Mandarin (preferable)• Willing to travel regionally and outstation in design office or shipyard (i.e SEA, China, etc.) as and when required by project
