Job Description: • Plan, formulate, lead and control Procurement Policies and Guidelines by way of improving the overall procurement process through structured procurement tools and SOPs to ensure targeted synergistic benefits and financial savings are achieved. • Plan, lead and implement all spectrum of procurement activities, supplier selections, resources planning, cost savings activities and etc • Plan, monitor and conduct strategic procurement analysis and reviews to identify purchasing trends and best value suppliers to achieve economies of scale. • Plan, lead and establish a vendor management database to ensure that it is well set up and maintained to reduce the dependency on limited suppliers for stock/item in of accordance with Group’s policies. • Plan, monitor and control of the day-to-day warehousing and logistics activities so as to ensure better cost efficiency and stock accuracy • Plan and collaborate with the Finance Division to ensure that all Group procurements are in accordance with Group LOAs and SOPs to promote greater alignment and governance of procurement practices in the Group. • Plan and develop annual budget for all the purchases (materials, equipments and assets) and provide timely update/report on budget utilization (cost and activity) to Management. • Review and recommend on all high value procurement (including cost of services by third parties) by way of providing timely and accurate specialist advice in identification, assessment and management of potential risks associated with different sourcing strategies to Head of Operations and Management/EXCO for decision making. • Plan, direct and control the Procurement department to ensure alignment among staff through consistent high impact communication, development and coaching for optimal performance. • Implementing, maintaining and optimizing the warehouse management system and total logistics solution for strategic warehouse and logistic management • Assist the in-house logistics team to achieve smooth logistics operation and timely scheduling. • Strategically management warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and procedures. • Planning work routes, assigning tasks appropriately and measuring results. • Ensuring the physical counts of products and reconciliation with data to maintain adequate inventory levels are conducted • Inspects all warehouse equipment, requests repair and order replacement when required • Monitor, manage and maintain physical store condition by planning and implementation new layout for space effectiveness. • Study, plan to ensure space ae utilized effectively for storage and plan for future expansion plans • Complete and ensure warehouse operation requirement by scheduling and assigning manpower follow up for work results • Coaching, counselling, discipline, planning for store overall aspects • Other Ad-hoc task assigned by the Management Job Requirement: • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain or equivalent • At least 7 years of working experience in the related is required for this position • Must have experience in FMCG Procurement and Warehousing • Strong knowledge of all laws and regulations relating to Procurement and Warehousing • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain systems, LEAN principles pf planning and MRP/ERP system often required • High competency level in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)
