Quality and EHS are of paramount importance within the organization and business. In line with that, we would expect you to have a sound understanding of Quality fundamentals and basic EHS principles and well versed with reporting as well as experiences in implementing the Quality Management System. You will be responsible for developing region Quality processes in liaison with Asia Pacific Quality, EHS and Security Head and roll it across various functions / disciplines within the business. Therefore, you shall posses' excellent communication and leadership skills as well as collaboration attributes. How You'll Make an Impact LeadershipChampion of Quality within the organization / regionSound knowledge of management systems / codes and standards and keeps abreast with the changes ensuring all functions / personnel within the organization / business are made aware as applicable.Guiding and educating all personnel on Quality requirements based on the established management system.Disseminating Quality details and information from Business and Region on timely manner in accordance with the line of communication.Coordination on Quality initiatives which is key for business KPIs.Stakeholder Engagement Ensure timely engagements with internal and external stakeholder as well as fulfilling all requirements considering the interfaces along the life of an activity or project.Implementation: Diligently participate in all meetings, engagements and collaborate with the region focal points on Quality and ensure all applicable requirements are effectively rolled out across the Business in Japan.Audits and Inspections Plan and perform internal management system audits and project audits in accordance with the Audit Plan in liaison with Region Coordinator or focal points.Plan, Coordinate and facilitate all external audits from either Customer, Regulator Bodies and / or accreditation Bodies, follow up on actions if any and ensure it is closed out satisfactorily. Management System Responsible for the Region Quality Management System Perform gap analysis on Region Management System and ensure it the structure between SE Global, Business and Region are aligned which is rolled out to countries and any specific country requirements are complemented with specific documents accordingly. Drive improvements on processes and ensure any changes to processes are disseminated accordingly. Competence Management Ensure training requirements for Office, Project personnel and contractors are fulfilled in accordance with the established training matrix. All training records are maintained appropriately and easily accessible and retrievable. NC Management Ensure robust NC Management process is in place. Facilitates and guide all relevant personnel / functions on NC management including NCC reporting.Facilitates and guide all relevant personnel / functions on NC Root Cause Analysis. Ensures corrective and preventive actions where applicable are appropriate to the context of the root causes.Ensure effective implementation of corrective actions and follow up to assess the effectiveness of those corrective actions.ReportingEnsure accurate, complete and timely internal and external Quality and EHS reporting in accordance with the stipulated requirements and frequency.Continuous ImprovementAlways being Proactive and seeking ways and mechanisms to improve Quality and EHS with emphasis on Lean Management, simplification, Digitalization and Innovation which are essence of continuous improvement.What You Bring Sound Degree in bachelor's degree in engineering, and/or Quality. Possesses minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the field of Quality Management with knowledge in EHS mainly reporting. Understands and sound knowledge of Non-Conformance (NC) Management including classification, containment / corrections, Root cause analysis and corrective actions. Good understanding of RCA and is able to lead and facilitate RCA process. Well communication in English, both written and spoken, ensuring seamless communication within our global environment Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey Quality details and requirements to diverse audiences. Experience in leading, guiding and collaborating with various functions / disciplines s on all Quality matters. Holder of Lead Auditor Certificate in ISO 9001 and having auditing experience in EHS will be an added advantage otherwise trained as an internal Auditor. Ability to analyze and solve Quality problems with focus on continuous improvement. Good understanding of applicable Quality Standards and codes requirements, ensuring our operations adhere to all relevant requirements. Sound knowledge on quality management systems and having knowledge on integrated management system will be an added value. Industry experience within the energy sector, power plants or oil will be essential allowing you to bring domain-specific insights to the role. Have sound knowledge of Quality and EHS reporting with strong foundation in reporting via Excel and/or Power BI
