Responsibilities:Serve as category manager for all 3rd party supplier procurement requirements supporting Honeywell's Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) functionDevelop, deploy and manage global Category Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trendsPartner closely with each of the 4 (four) SBG Integrated Supply Chain organizations to ensure early sourcing engagement, alignment on key sourcing objectives and effective execution of sourcing projectsIdentify strategic partners, negotiate contracts and develop a Preferred Supplier List with competitive rate cardsManage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processesMeasure and manage supplier performance (KPI's); Savings, Payment Terms, Service LevelsConsistently deliver year-over-year productivity, payment term improvementsDeploy a regular and effective engagement model with key stakeholders that provides consistent communication and alignmentDrive and execute the Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies; align business and Sourcing initiatives to optimize and deliver year-over-year resultsCoordinate Sourcing support for functional requirements between the Category team (CST) and the Global Sourcing and Procurement Operations teamApply effective Sourcing supplier risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier continuityYOU MUST HAVE:3+ years of experience Commodity Management/Procurement experience; preferrable in Indirect SourcingExperience in developing Supply Base Management strategies with a proven record of delivering key business resultsStrong negotiation skills, fluent in drafting contract terms and conditionsExcellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWE VALUEBachelor of Science degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technology or Finance ,Master's Degree in Business AdministrationDemonstrate Honeywell behaviors Passion for Winning, Think Big and Make it HappenProject Management and/or Contract Management ExperienceProfessional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract ManagementDemonstrated Business and financial acumenExperience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management ToolsExperience with Six Sigma and Lean ToolsIndependent and strategic thinker who is highly motivated with boundless energy to get stuff doneDesire to innovate, disrupt and challenge the status quoExperience leveraging analytics for measurable business improvementSome experience in procurementAbout UsThe world is changing.
