The Tax Specialist will Handle the tax compliance independently and diligently.Have critical thinking skills in between risk management and business cost impact/ saving and to build the business partnering, to assist business to identify issues and solve problems, where needed.ResponsibilityTo go beyond the tax compliance and focus on influencing, building relationships with business. These are required to manage tax risks or to identify tax incentive opporturnity by working with business. Provide full support in subsequent tax risk management solutions or incentives application.Process efficiency – to understand the wider and longer-term implications of an initiative or action may take some time, but persistent in getting the deliverables done that will overall improve the turnaround of tax compliance cycle. Complete required tax submissions, monthly tax reporting, yearly tax returns in a timely manner. The candidate is expected to plan, organise and deliver the work with minimal supervision and meeting multiple deadlines that can and will overlap at times.Advise withholding tax implication on business transactions in a timely manner, estimated 5-10 transactions per day. The candidate is envisaged to carry some research on current legislation, current tax authorities practice and double tax agreement before advising the business partner.
