Senior Tax Executive

Job Description:Prepare monthly/bi-monthly tax compliance (WHT & SST

- from reconciliation, payment for tax returns, including preparation of tax returns forms)Supporting and providing advisory to other departments on matters related to taxationIdentify and mitigate tax risks on daily transactions/projectsAlways up-to-date on the local and international tax regulations and able to assess the impact to businessPrepare monthly tax provisions to be taken up during monthly closingPrepare annual tax report and handle tax queries in collaboration with tax consultants/tax department in HQPrepare data for Tax Audit and any other litigations (if any) and responsible for the follow up and closure of casesMaintaining the relationship with Tax OfficeRequirements:Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Taxation or equivalentProfessional qualification from recognized body (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW etc) is an added advantageAt least 4 years of working experience in audit / MNC / local consulting firmExcellent knowledge of both corporate and indirect local tax regulationFamiliar with taxation on E-commerce/Logistics/Retail industryAble to perform reconciliation between Accounting and income tax/WHT/SSTExcellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skillsAn excellent team player, flexible with good attitude and pro-active in resolving issuesKnowledge in ORACLE accounting software for tax purpose will be an added advantage
