Senior Test Engineer (Structured ASIC) Job Description SAME (Structured ASIC Manufacturing Engineering, formally as eASIC Operation) is looking future exceptional talent toassume the role of Senior Test Engineer.
In the SAME org, a Senior Test Engineer typically has the following responsibilities:
•New Product ATE test development
–Design new hardware, probe card, PIB board, sockets and load boards.
–Create pattern conversion.
–Debug test patterns with design team.
–Create characterization, production test programs.
–Develop test patterns to improve coverage.
•Work with Design, DFT, product engineering teams to define/implement SOC ATE test solutions and drive new product through production release.
•Verify yield on early production stage with PE team and transfer production test to OSAT suppliers.
•Perform characterization on new products and generate standard characterization reports.
•Continuous improvement to drive test program quality to improve yield as well as optimize production flow, test time reduction to improve overall cost.
•Test hardware development and support (sockets, probe cards, PIB boards, load board…etc)
•Production sustaining low yield analysis for abnormal lots.
Qualifications
A Senior Test Engineer would have the following qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE with 5-10 years Test Engineering experience
- Strong knowledge in ASIC/SOC/Mixed Signal/FPGA test methodology and programming on Advantest 93K platform is a must-have.
- Proven track record in both ATE development of complex ASIC projects and test transfer to manufacturing sites with ongoing sustaining support.
- Good knowledge of DFT and strong programming background (C, C++, Perl, Python).
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced and limited resource environment.
- Analytical, motivated and result oriented creative thinker.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, team player, independent and self starter. Ability to establish clear goals and formulate execution plans.
- Recommended: good understanding on pattern generation & simulation.
- Willing to travel on-demand to support remote test houses for production ramp up support.
