You Will Do:
The Senior Web Developer will report to a Software Engineering Manager based in California, and work closely with a Server Side JAVA Engineer in our Malaysia development centre. The role is ideal for an experienced web developer looking to step up to the next level in a dynamic, fast moving organization.
Implement new features into MyMatrixx, our price plan administration tool. At Matrixx, we emphasize a configure-not-code strategy to implement our high performance rating engine in complex customer business scenarios, and MyMatrixx is the key tool for allowing our customers to configure and control our rating engine.
Interface with product management, engineering, and marketing teams headquartered around the globe.
Design and maintain complex web applications.
Work independently, as well as participating as a key player of a team creating and developing ideas and tools from scratch.
Interface regularly with business stakeholders and executive management
The autonomous scope to apply your expertise to many complex technical problems.
You Will Bring:
5+ years of professional software development experience working on front-end UI development using HTML and JavaScript.
A strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
The ability to work independently, as well as participating as a key player of a team creating and developing ideas and tools from scratch.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
JSON & AJAX based development experience.
Deep expertise and hands-on experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Angular, JS and API's.
UI design experience for web-based products.
A strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
REST based Web Service experience.
BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
The Extras:
Experience working on all layers of a full-stack application, from data base schema and server-side JAVA code all the way up to HTML/JavaScript front end
Experience writing applications using Angular, React and/or other front-end UI technologies
Experience with OpenAPI, LOG4J, SLF4J, Apache Camel, Enterprise Integration Patterns and Enterprise Service Bus based systems
XML experience including DTDs and XSLT
Experience in one or more of the following areas: E-Commerce, Teamwork, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, REST Web Services, Designing Restful API's
