Job Responsibility Greet customers as they enter the cafe in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using the cafe's POS (Point of Sale) system. Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and pricing. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Prepare and serve the food and beverages according to cafe standards. Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in a timely manner. Keep the cafe's front-of-house area, including serving counters, tables, and seating areas, clean and well-maintained throughout the shift. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations. Restock supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments, as needed. Assist in maintaining inventory levels by keeping track of stock and notifying management when supplies are running low. Handle cash and process credit/debit card transactions accurately and securely. Calculate and issue change to customers. Reconcile cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to management. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, baristas, and other service crew members to coordinate orders and maintain efficiency. Assist in training new team members as needed. Clean and maintain cafe equipment, including air con and refrigerators, to ensure proper functioning. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to management promptly Job Requirements SPM, diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in customer service, food service, or related field is an advantage but not always required. Good verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members. Can work 6 days a week followed by assigned working schedule, including weekends, and holidays. Have own transport to come to work on time.
