Shipping Manager

Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.- Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.- Arrangement of cross border transportation, prepare the transport documentation, liaise with transporter for transport and container trucking arrangement.- To liaise and co-ordinate shipments with freight forwarders and shipping line for import and export shipment.- Prepare all shipping documents accurately and ensure shipments are being handled promptly and keep tracking on shipment ETD & ETA.- Identify tax and import duty of goods imported.- Handle and manage custom clearance, customs bonding procedure & other relevant compliance requirement.- Ensuring all incoming and outgoing dutiable and taxable items are properly documented for Customs declaration process.- To ensure proper documentation for K1, K2 and K3 form.- Lead and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for Customs compliance audit, LMW license.- Provide the analysis on the transit time for both inbound and outbound logistic and seeking for improvement.- Ensure activities carried out are adhering to corporate compliance, global/local policies and guidelines.- Actively engage in shipments problem solving.- Developing procedures and systems for scheduling and tracking procurement and distribution operations.**Requirements**:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.- Immediate or short notice period will be advantage.**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Holidays- Monday to Friday**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Shipping: 5 years (preferred)**Language**:- Mandarin (preferred)- English (preferred)
