Shipping Specialist

**This is a hands-on role.****The shipping specialist will supervise and support all port and marine logistics for FFM Berhad. **Responsible in supervising **bulk **& container cargo inbound and outbound operations mainly in **West Port,** and to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships between FFMB and Westport, ensuring all interests of FFMB are upheld.- **Supervise all port, quayside operations and logistic support.**:- Ensure all vessel windows, berth slot and plan are as planned (first come first serve basis)- Ensure cargo loading and unloading is in according to the agreed pre-operations plan.- To escalate any issues or challenges that may arise which would affect FFM Berhad operations.- Observe, collect and provide feedback on quay-side operations, vessel movement and operational trends.- Monitor and manage service delivery of appointed vendors**Requirements**:- **Knowledge on bulk cargo operations.**:- Demonstrate prior experience as Ship Representative / Jetty Operations Coordinator / Bulk ship supervisor**.**:- **Detailed and operations-minded.**:- **KEK - Perkapalan Certificate will be advantageous.**:- Minimum Diploma + 1 Year experience in Logistics (Port Operations - Bulk + Container) **OR** SPM + 3 years' experience in Logistics (Port Operations - Bulk and Container).- Reporting skills and familiar with **Excel, Word** etc.- **Must be able to travel as required.****Salary**: From RM1.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Performance bonusApplication Question(s):- Are you willing to travel as required for this role?
