**General Responsibilities**- To inspect the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process or any description of manual labour used in the place of work is of such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person on daily basis and report to Person-in-Charge for improvement action.- Site Safety supervisor responsible for ensuring that construction projects, industrial sites and other areas of industry adhere to all relevant safety standards. They commonly work with a team of site engineers, foremen and other supervisors to ensure that everyone on the site is working safely and correctly.- The SSS shall join SHO to investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or disease, which has happened in the place of work with Person-inCharge and Supervisor involved.- To assist the employer in promoting OSH by organizing and implementing Safety and Health Campaign programme at the place of work- To assist SHC in any inspection of the place of work for checking the effectiveness and efficiency of any measures taken before the monthly SHC Meeting being carried out.- To assist SHO to collect, analyse and maintain statistics and accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and disease which have occurred at the place of work.- Site Safety Supervisor to submit site weekly inspection report to immediate superior for review pertaining to any potential hazards that may cause harm to people or damage to property.- Training and overseeing workers on safety procedures and practices to prevent injuries or accidents.- To inspect any equipment and machineries based on Safety and Health monthly programme; in order to display colour coding tag/sticker.- Site Safety Supervisor to be attended for TBM & PTP together VC project team/sub-contractor and ensure all activities commencing according to PlW/MOS/HIRARC and PTP- Any site issues/matter; need to be reported to immediate superior (SHO) on daily basis. Conducting regular check ups on equipment such as lifts, cranes, scaffolding and electrical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safe to use.- Site Safety Supervisor to be vigilant full time to monitoring and supervising site activities. Monitoring the work environment to ensure that safety standards are met by workers and contractors.- Coordinating first aid treatment and medical evacuation in cases of serious injury or illness- Obey any rules & roles pertaining to Safety and Health matters which will be dedicated by EHS Manager.**Requirement**- Minimum 2 years experience working in Safety & Health.- Familiar with Safety & Health procedure at site.- Able to work with minimum supervision.- Knowledge in applicable legal and other requirement, and EHS practice.- Minimum requirement for safety supervisor to register with JKKP and have a valid yellowbook.**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary, Fresh graduateContract length: 6 months**Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM3,800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insuranceSchedule:- Day shift- Early shift- Evening shift- Holidays- Monday to Friday- Night shift- On call- Rotational shift- Weekend jobsSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Kulim: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Site Safety Supervisor: 1 year (required)License/Certification:- Yellow Book (required)Willingness to travel:- 100% (required)Expected Start Date: 04/08/2024
