**Job details**:Posted 15 August 2023SalaryRM12000.00 - RM15000.00 per monthLocationKuala LumpurJob type PermanentDisciplineBanking & Financial ServicesReference266535_1692107834**Responsibilities**:- Process and review monthly provisions accurately and completely in compliance with MFRS9 guidelines.- Provide provision numbers for internal management reporting, regulatory reporting, financial statements, and ad-hoc requests.- Continuously review and improve the provisioning process to ensure compliance with MFRS9 and identify areas for automation.- Support operations and production by providing necessary guidance and assistance.- Collaborate with the business to evaluate the impact of provision changes and assess cost/benefit options.- Work on the ECL Overlay, considering MFRS9 requirements and incorporating them into the provision calculations.- Identify and utilize appropriate data sources and input points for the MEP calculator in line with MFRS9 standards.- Coordinate with IT to establish data links, develop UAT scripts, conduct testing, and provide sign-off.- Verify provision numbers generated by the MEP calculator and perform manual adjustments if needed.- Lead a team in working with the department and IT to automate gaps and improve efficiency in provision processes, ensuring MFRS9 compliance.**Job Requirements**:- Strong knowledge of MFRS9 ECL (Expected Credit Loss) and familiarity with accounting principles and operations.- Proficient in Excel, including macro programming, and experienced in using SQL and SAS.- Understanding of Basel regulations and credit modeling would be an added advantage.JTK Number**:JTKSM 995** | Company Registration Number**:201301019088 (1048918-T)
