Job Description Open Position: Software Architect, Senior (IT Service Company) An IT service company is currently hiring a Senior Software Architect to come and join them in the Selangor office. Key responsibilities include: Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, electrical or in any related field. Proven experience as a Software Architect of at least 5 years, with a strong hands on skills. Lead the design and development of high-level software architecture, encompassing system components, modules, and interfaces. Thoroughly examine project constraints to assess alternatives, manage risks, and perform process re-engineering when required. Provide technical direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices. Expertise in software development languages and technologies (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.). In-depth knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and architecture styles. Possessing strong expertise in database development, including data mining, data security, database design, and database programming. Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage. Leadership experience, guiding technical teams and driving software projects to successful completion.
