Software Engineering is a very important aspect of Exis Tech's industrial automation solutions. The Software Engineer is part of a team that develops, customizes and improves the software code that allows our complex, high-tech equipment to function. Our solutions are used to produce, manufacture and test semiconductors which are then incorporated into state-of-the-art consumer electronics like mobile phones and LED lighting solutions for the automotive industry. This position requires the following: Responsibilities: Configure and prepare software according to specification/requirement. Assist software development for new modules/projects. Software maintenance. Software version management. New software commissioning. 1st level technical support. Provide training to end users. Write/revise software user manual. Lead software development for new modules/projects at supervisory capacity. 2nd level technical support at supervisory capacity. Provides training to new software engineers at supervisory capacity. Write software training/reference documents at supervisory capacity. Make plans and ensure the fulfillment of the team's purpose at supervisory capacity. Organize resources within the team at supervisory capacity. Human resource development within the team at supervisory capacity. Provides motivation and inspiration to the team at supervisory capacity. Supervise and drive compliances at supervisory capacity. Develop, improve system and processes within the team and department at supervisory capacity. Requirements: Degree holder of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia written and spoken communication skills. Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients. Fundamental programming knowledge, preferably in preferably in Visual Basic 6/.Net and Visual C/C++. Fundamental understanding in Electrical/electronic circuit, Digital logic, I/O interface, Micro-controller and Automation systems. Good analysis and trouble shooting skills. Able to work independently. Willing to work overtime and travel overseas when required.
