What applies to you As a Software Engineer specializing in Java , you will have the exciting responsibility of implementing services for Card Management Solutions for our valued clients. Your role will encompass designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and contribute significantly to the overall success of our product.
What you will do Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle , from requirements analysis to deployment. Design and implement custom development applications and interfaces for clients. Specify and manage enhancements to be implemented under change management control. Provide 1st and 2nd level of support across all supported applications, developing a resolution for customer issues based on product and industry knowledge. Provide 24/7 standby support on a rotating basis, ensuring continuous availability and responsiveness to address any critical issues that may arises. Diagnose and resolve application issues within live production environment. Execute additional assignments as directed by the Lead Software Engineer or Business Leads, contributing to team success and project outcomes. What you will need Possess a minimum of 4-6 years of working experience in related fields.. Proficient in modern programming languages, with a particular expertise in Java programming. Capable of developing solutions using multi-language programming , i ncluding Java, COBOL, and C languages. Experience with Unix platforms for development and deployment. Familiar with DB2 or Oracle databases. Willing to travel both locally and internationally. Knowledge of credit/debit card business processing is a plus.
