What You'll Do

Provide remote, network and phone support for software services of Command Alkon’s dispatch suite of products which includes COMMANDseries, COMMANDqc, COMMANDperformance. With over 800 installations worldwide, these are the premier concrete dispatching accounting systems in the world!
As a support representative, you will answer How-To questions and be responsible for remote troubleshooting, integration and upgrading of Command Alkon’s dispatching and accounting proprietary software products. This can be especially challenging in a high production environment.
While working at our corporate office, you will be fully engaged in telephone and remote diagnostic support, providing critical services. This will include troubleshooting networks, databases, core software, integrations, and data reporting issues.
COMMANDseries is a proprietary software that is very complex and integrated with other Command Alkon or 3rd party business software using file transfer/sharing. TCP/ICP networking, XML, Ethernet/IP and so forth. As a COMMANDseries support representative, you will diagnose and correct issues/breakdowns in these integrated systems. You will be trained to understand all of these systems, so you can diagnose issues as they arise.
While servicing customers, you will document case notes, details, and troubleshooting data within Microsoft Dynamic’s 365 ERP system.
You will work with your team and Technical Account Manger to communicate with other groups regarding complex product issues, upgrades, modifications and escalations.
Provide after hours and on-call customer support on scheduled basis.
You will need to travel 0%-5% of the time.
Who You Are

You have a degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
You recognize how systems connect end-to-end regarding interface communications and can quickly isolate problems based on what you hear and see.
You never accept that things “just happen” and move on.
You are a people person who has a servant’s heart and finds happiness by solving other’s problems.
Experienced in customer support, Windows operating systems, Oracle or SQL database and networking systems.
Background/understanding of computer networks (Ethernet) both at a hardware and software level.
Construction materials industy knowledge a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
A positive attitude with excellent communication and time management skills is a must.
You like to train customers on how to use innovative software to help their business.
You like a challenge and work well under pressure.
2- 3 years’ experience in customer support and software field preferred.
