Sourcing Engineer

Position Responsibilities: 1) Implement the supplier development and evaluation process, develop suppliers to meet the diversified needs of customers, and constantly establish a perfect flexible and agile supply chain. 2) Cooperate with business department to complete the new RFQ (NPI & Mass Production) with competitive material price. Propose alternative components to optimize purchasing cost with customers approval. 3) Manage suppliers and improve their performance to meet Eolane SCM strategy. 4) Regular Supplier visit and evaluation, build close communication and cooperation-ship with suppliers.  5) As a member of Eolane Asia SCM, develop Malaysia local source to improve the price competitiveness.  6) Support to resolve material shortage and quality issue for NPI project. 7) Focus on market information changes, adjust procurement strategies timely, and reduce the total cost of  material procurement. 8) Strictly follow the procurement process and business ethics, and maintain a healthy cooperative  relationship with suppliers. 9) Other duties shall be performed in accordance with relevant manuals/procedures. 10) Other tasks assigned by line manager. Position Qualification: 1) Bachelor degree or above, science and technology major preferred. 2) Above 5 years Sourcing experiences in manufacturing sites, EMS factory preferred, family with  electronic material supply channels. 3) Very good knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management of the Electronic components. 4) Clear presentation skills, good communication and coordination skills, good negotiation skills. 5) Reliable and proactive, teamwork sprit. 6) Able to work under high stress environment. 7) Good at English and Chinese. 8) Familiar with ERP is a plus.
