Our client is looking for a Sourcing Manager to support the day-to-day activities within our Product Supply Chain team. In this role, you will work across teams to translate ideas into finished products while optimizing cost, quality, and lead time. You will manage end-to-end new product development and sustaining. This includes vendor management and evaluation, product development, cost negotiations, sourcing, production, and quality assurance.Locantion: Fully-Remote (Work from Home) 9am-6pm ESTKey Responsibilities:Work with the Director of Supply Chain to establish strategy and timelines for new product development and sourcing activities. Lead sourcing new suppliers, RFQ process, and supplier selectionConduct/support negotiationsCommunicate with vendors to manage ongoing projects as needed in development and production. Ensure they meet the timelines, required specifications, and quality standards. Travel to manufacturers across Asia to conduct business, product inspections, and sourcing activities. Partner with the Director of Supply Chain to onboard new suppliers and manage existing vendor relationships. Responsible for ensuring products meet compliance testing requirements. Formulate and execute successful supply chain strategies along with a detailed implementation plan that aligns with the business's strategic goals and plans and drives to help deliver the objectivesResponsible for detailed data management including SKU data, packaging artwork, purchase orders, and Bill of Materials. Manage samples as needed, including tracking, assembly, organization, and documenting changes across versions. Drive a culture of ownership and continuous improvementBuilds consensus on strategies and tactics with all stakeholdersQualifications:10+ years of previous experience in sourcing, product development, supply chain, or production. Experience in home goods (experience in both hard goods and soft goods is a plus)Experience working for the US Market; experience with big US retailers a plus (Walmart, Target, Costco, etc)Excellent computer skills, including Google Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge and experience using computer software and collaborative project management tools and processes. Strong business acumenStrong negotiation skillsMeticulous attention to detailAbility to travel on short noticeAbility to multitask and manage multiple high-priority projects at a timeMultilingual: English and MandarinMust be able to regularly lift 30+ lbs.
