**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Responsible for planning, logistics & warehouse and purchasing.- Implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective- Managing daily supply chain activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.- Managing supplier relations and negotiating with local and international suppliers on price, quantity,quality, and trading terms to meet the Company's objective.- To monitor suppliers' delivery performance.- To compile the information from all stores and analyse customer purchasing behaviour and market trend.- Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.- Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Customer Service teams.- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.- Working to improve supply chain systems and processes.- Training new employees in the purchasing, planning and inventory process.**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**- Bachelor Degree in in any disciplinary or equivalent- Minimum 10 year's working experience in the related field.- Good communication skills and proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and mandarin- Proactive problem solving, follow up and strong negotiation skills.- Leadership skill and people management skill are required.- To perform any adhoc task assigned by the HOD or top management- Trust-worthy, Goal-Oriented, Creative, Innovative and high ability to work under pressureLocation : Kawasan Perindustrian Tampoi, 81200 Johor Bahru, Johor**Salary**: Up to RM16,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Dental insurance- Health insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- Proficiency in Mandarin Language?- Year of Experience as Material Manager?- Having experience in ERP environment?
