JOB DESCRIPTION 1) Radio network planning and analytics activities: - Design and planning of wireless telecommunications networks by using crowd source data - Network assessment for coverage and capacity including traffic analysis, coverage predictions and site evaluation. - Developing analytic use cases by leveraging of crowd source data in exploring potential development area. 2) Key Accountabilities - To ideate and drive solution innovations that allow for differentiation of service to our customers as well as to reduce Total Cost of Ownership. - To Support network analytics & data scientist to identify potential site locations and consolidate radio plans from customers in order to maximise the benefit of shared network infrastructure, while supporting the customers in achieving respective network coverage, performance and capacity goals. - Drive technical relationship with RAN vendors in the areas of product responsibility, benchmarking, roadmap and performance management. Support or lead RFQ based technical assessments. - Create expertise on upcoming technologies such as 5G/OpenRAN/IoT etc - Facilitate expertise, tools and competence building program to regional employees - Produce technical standards, frameworks or guidelines required for network as well supervise, motivate and provide sufficient coaching to subordinates to keep high level of competency especially on technical aspects QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or relevant field - 5 to 10 years' experience in mobile Telecommunications KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - Solid experience in 2G/3G/4G/5G radio network planning and optimization - In depth knowledge of RF principle and fundamentals of radio, access and core systems - Knowledgeable in inbuilding system design and small cell planning - Experience in radio planning related link budget, simulation and capacity management tools - Knowledgeable of RAN base station product solutions - Good knowledge of network implementation/ integration processes - High degree of analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities - Preferred to have network vendor and operator experience - Knowledgeable of backhaul technologies such as fiber, copper and microwave - Good communications and presentation skills - Customer engagement experienceTelnetIntl Sdn.
