If you are a person with a relentless drive to succeed, a strong focus on quality with a passion for success – join us today!UCT is looking for a talented Sr Manager, Category Management OEM to join us in Malaysia!Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop global/regional commodity strategy based on business needs and market condition.Identify suppliers based on customer requirements and supplier capability.Contract management including GSA, inventory management program, etc.Supplier development and maintenance including improvement projects to meet quality, delivery and capability requirements.Negotiation of commercial terms, pricing, lead time, MOQ, incoterm, etc.Conduct QBR to review and improve supplier performance.Project manage transitions and qualifications. Educational/Certification Requirement: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management and or Mechanical Engineering or other discipline Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 years' experience in commodity management in manufacturing environment, semiconductor related experience will be a plus.Strategic thinking and analytic skills: total cost of ownership, element of cost, etc.Market research capability – regional labor rate, raw material cost, etc.Good communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skill.
