MTS Product Development Eng. (SLT_Test Program)
THE ROLE:
Test program owner that governs System Level Testing, developing and optimizing test program on AMD's test solution, supporting production bring up, issue debugging and continuous improvement for product indices.
THE PERSON:
The MTS Product Development Eng. should keen on technical problem-solving and have the drive and determination to investigate and provide solutions to issues. You are reliable, self-starter and takes initiative on matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Level Test owner. Develops, optimizes and releases program for high volume production
- Post production product variants bring up
- Identify test time reduction, yield improgement and quality improvement opportunities and drive innovation on test strategy
- Drives for Test KPIs improvement (Test Yield, Test Time and FTRd) across products
- Conducts engineering evaluations and analysis from test perspective on engineering enhancement or improvement projects
- Provides overall Test Engineering supports for AMD’s SCBU products tested at global facilities
- Early engagement in pre and post silicon phases, involves with test coverage bring up, test flow integration and test hardware qualification
- Working with regional teams, including Product development group and Manufacturing group in the early stage bring up for product cycles at the AMD high volume sites
- Represents test team on any test excursions and issue escalations to the respective owner to identify resolution or containment action for the issue
- Interface between AMD and OSAT for test program implementation and resolution for operation issues
- Requires strong understanding of test program, good communication and capability to drive/deliver critical business milestones
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Mastery of principles of test experience in electronics industrial
- Experience with software programming in bash scripts, C/C++ and Java
- Experience in platform test and debug
- Familiarity with PC architecture and operation system, like Linux and Windows
- Experience with IC test experience and assist in ASIC bring up and support activities, system level test is preferred.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Required Degree: BS
- Preferred Major: Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering
