Sr Project Planning & Control Analyst

Malaysia

Join a team of specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with the Integrated program team to develop program plans, create cost and schedule baselines for large complex programs across multiple sites. You will recommend improvement actions for process and tool implementation and will interact with global program management Team, Business leaders and customers. You will coach and mentor Project Analysts with less experience to improve their skills and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

(6-8 years of experience in project planning department) Responsible for planning, scheduling & Cost Control of Various projects executed in South East Asia region. Work in Conjunction with Project Managers to Create Baselines & monthly monitor project progress & cost, Estimate cost to complete & report Variances. Ensures that all Accounting policy & practices are followed as per Company Policy. Enable Project Managers in Change management process & achieve productivity targets set on the projects Perform monthly Internal reviews of all assigned projects with Operation leaders & highlight risks & Opportunities to meet monthly / Quarterly Plans. Assist in reviews of large projects with Higher Management & assist Project managers in Internal / External Audits on the projects. Familiar with MS Office applications (excel, work PowerPoint), SAP / Oracle ERP’s Applications or equivalent business systems , Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft projects used for project scheduling Demonstrates excellent communication and management skills and works well with Program Managers, Project Managers & other Cross functions to ensure project progress is achieved as planned . Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and related experience in end to end Project delivery within a multidisciplinary Organization Able to lead & direct work to others. Reports to a head of a unit/department.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

Degree in Business, Science or Engineering, Finance or Accounting or related field Experience as Business Analyst Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience User experience of SAP system Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g. Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management Project Management certification
