As an Engineer, SIG Electrical Design in the Systems Integration Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will define, design, and implement complex system requirements for semiconductor test equipment. You may also prepare studies and analyze existing semiconductor device test systems. As an experienced electrical engineer, you will direct engineering activities to solve complex problems on PCB assemblies and at the system level. You will work closely in multidisciplinary design teams and be responsible for the electrical design and implementation in the system. These teams can be geographically diverse and located around the world. You will fill the roles of electrical lead and potentially design lead on development projects. You will provide technical guidance to management and help define group processes and procedures. Daily activities can include the following. Responsibilities and Tasks FPGA design with Verilog and System Verilog Schematic entry Work closely with PCB designers to design PCBs Debug and verification of PCB assemblies Authoring requirements specifications, design documentation, test plans, and lab reports Python scripting and data analysis Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR, DMM, power supplies, etc. Direct electrical engineering resources on development projects Project scheduling and scoping Generate technical reports for management review Product Development Responsibilities Assesses current and future technology requirements in order to identify strategic opportunities for design and process improvements within Micron Performs decision analysis and feasibility studies on proposed projects and tasks Define design requirements for tasks and projects that consider end user needs, statutory requirements, and the business needs Assess workload and resources required to implement a design and work with a cross functional team to plan for and execute on project deliverables Perform design and development work to meet project or task requirements Help define manufacturing and engineering support solutions Plan, build, and refine prototype designs including test and verification Document and control designs Support prototype qualification by the customer including deployment, design changes, and issue resolution Support released designs for issues or additional design and development requests Requirement Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Minimum 5 years industry experience All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
