Staff Engineer Mask Design

Job descriptions: To implement the physical layout of circuit based on schematics provided by circuit design engineers. Check the correctness of layout using DRC/LVS tools. To work with circuit design engineers in the evaluation of various circuit options and their impact on layout, and determine the optimize approach. To perform top level routing and connection of input output signals. Giving extra care to signals identified as sensitive to minimize possible coupling and parasitic. To perform top level bussing to satisfy current density and minimize IR drop throughout the chip. To develop standard physical cell library for new process technology. To perform tapeout checking process to make sure the database is ready for tapeout. To plan, schedule and coordinate sub-cell layout. To liaise with CAD tool vendors to solve problem/issue encounter with layout tools. To co-lead the layout design project Involve in Continuous Improvement/layout productivity& quality enhancement effort You are best equipped for this task if you have: Years work experience in years: 5-7 Technical / functional experience in years: 5+ Language and software skills + level: Cadence Virtuoso, Unix Education background: Degree Driving decarbonization and digitalization.
