Staff Nurse

1. Assessing and planning nursing care requirements.
2. Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions.
3. Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures.
4. Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.
5. Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
6. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
7. Maintains continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
8. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
9. Perform other functions that might be assigned from time to time by direct supervisor.
