The Impact You'll MakeThis position will be part of Lam Research Global Supply Chain Organization. The primary role is to develop and execute to the strategy for the Major Modules with the Remote Factories/ Contract Manufacturers within the supply chain organization. This role will be responsible for the development of new suppliers and maintaining the suppliers' core competencies to support local and global business requirements. Portfolio also includes developing outsourcing capabilities for capacity flexibility and developing plans and metrics for annual cost savings.What You'll Do Develop and deploy new suppliers for critical technology in a fast-pace, high mix, low volume environment. Development of outsourcing capabilities for capacity flexibility, and extensive lead time reduction. Development of plans and metrics for annual cost savings. Develop and maintain suppliers' core competencies to support local/global business requirements Manage supplier capacity plans and articulate constraints for long term planning Negotiate contracts (purchase agreements, ISA's and etc.) and identify/execute on pricing inflection points Manage Lam liabilities at suppliers through claims and balance sheet review processes Manage Lam working capital through lead time strategies including postponement, consignment, and inventory stocking strategies Continuity planning and risk mitigation. Develop and maintain working knowledge of Lam's quality management system and properly apply quality procedures and operating procedures as appropriate Receiving deemed exports of EAR or ITAR controlled technology Carry out technical and commercial projects and all other additional duties as assigned. Write effective reports on development of progress of projects. Who We're Looking For Bachelor degree or equivalent is required with 2- 4 years of supervisory experience. •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Business-related field More than 5 years related experience in a supply chain role with progressive responsibility Proven ability to gain partnerships and excel on a cross-functional teams Experience in procurement and supplier management desirable Ability to interpret technical documents (i.e. blueprints/drawings/BOM) Experience in using SAP system is a MUST Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple processes and projects Team player, independent and meticulous Our Commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
