Job Description
TheStrategic Supply Chain Manager (Regional)will be based inPort Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor.The position is responsible for primary customer-facing role regarding materials and supply chain management for the assigned customer(s) and its programs with Flex Industrial. The SSCM will attend to customer issues regarding the flow of material into Flextronics in support of the Customer’s programs and ensure overall customer satisfaction with regard to incoming material and supply chain management. Key KPIs are inventory management & ITO (SMI%,LT, MOQ redn) Material Margin, BOM control % and supporting segment RFQs

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management
Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products
Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
Reviews materials related data analyses.
Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial competitiveness.
Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Possesses a Degree in related discipline
Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field is required
Experience inmechanical, materials and customer facing
Individual contributor with good analysis and presentation skillswill be an advantage
