1) Casting Operations - Supervise the concrete casting process, including the preparation of concrete mixtures, placement of reinforcing materials, pouring of concrete into segment moulds, and curing procedures. 2) Quality Control - Collaborate with the QAQC team to ensure that concrete casting meets the required quality standards, engineering specifications, and industry regulations. Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality segments. 3) Resource Management - Efficiently allocate resources, including labour, materials, equipment, and formwork, to achieve consistent and timely segment casting. Monitor resource usage and optimize efficiency. 4) Safety Compliance - Ensure that casting activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies. Implement proper safety procedures and promote a safe working environment for the casting team. 5) Formwork Installation - Coordinate the installation and removal of formwork for casting. Ensure proper formwork alignment, stability, and adherence to design requirements. 6) Project Coordination - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align casting schedules with project milestones. Provide updates on casting progress and address any casting-related concerns. 7) Documentation - Maintain accurate records of casting operations, including concrete mix designs, casting reports, curing procedures, and any deviations or adjustments made during the casting process. 8) Maintenance - Oversee the maintenance and cleaning of casting equipment and tools to ensure their continuous functionality and longevity throughout the project. 9) Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the casting operations.
