**Supervisor - Production**Steelcase, Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia (On-site)Our Manufacturing Plant in Puchong Selangor is hiring a Supervisor - Production. This role is to supervise and lead the production operation team members to produced manufactured products, according to the company standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Responsible in producing good qualities products in accordance with Quality Acceptances Standards, and to ensure production operator comply to the company Lean Management System. He / She is also responsible to provide timely production KPI reports to the Production Manager.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Leading a team of specialist and operators for daily production deliverables, with the support from Planner, QA, Material Store, Maintenance, Operation Engineering, and others department.- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks and manpower to meet production goals.- Responsible to ensure all operators are trained and follow as per standard.- Develop controlled experiments on established standards using Math and Sciences.- Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency and identified chronic issues with problem solving methods.- Govern a harassment-free, knowledgeable / aware team environment using effective communication, leveraging Steelcase Culture, Core Values, and Company Strategies- Participate in Line set up and resources planning to meet on demand.- Maintain/ meeting production schedules and supervise the production operation in the lines or areas allocated.- Responsible for general administration e.g., manpower status, attendance, leaves, production set -up, discipline, control etc.- Responsible to develop HPT (High Performance Team) in every process. Responsible for skill development of production team which includes HPT, Zone members and Specialist.- Coach and enable High Performance Team and Zone Member to improve their standards.- To counsel and guide employees in respect of work- and work-related problem affecting their performance and escalate to higher level if deemed necessary.- Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility- Maintaining and promoting LEAN culture and Principles (FLOW, PROCESS DICIPLINE & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT) entire organization.**Requirements Profile (Competencies, skills, abilities, experience, education necessary.)**- Knowledge of Production management and manufacturing processes- Management skills- Lean Knowledge- Communication and leadership skills- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identifies and addresses problems, meet deadlines and stay within budget.- Planning and organizing skills- Inventory management skill.- Able to read SPC, analyzing IIOT.- Good leadership, communication & interpersonal skills- Independent and resourceful- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately.- Computer literate. IT skills, especially using data analysis software.- Basic on IR 4.0 program and activities.- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia - written and spoken.**Education/Experience**- Degree/ diploma in Mechanical engineering, or any other related technical degree/diploma- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing especially in high volume manufacturing environment with LEAN system
