Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supplier Management Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the supplier management function and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our store.
Key Responsibilities: Act as a support resource for supplier-related communications, including order placements, inquiries, and issue resolution. Assist in coordinating with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and facilitate order placements with suppliers. Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in conducting evaluations of supplier performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Help monitor inventory levels and track delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to deliveries, invoices, or product quality. Contribute to maintaining accurate records of supplier information, contracts, and pricing agreements. Assist in optimizing inventory management processes and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree equivalent in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Prior experience of 1 or 2 years in supplier management, procurement, or purchasing roles is preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with inventory management software is preferred. Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry regulations. Additional Details: This is a junior-level position open to fresh graduates and part-timers, with the expectation that all tasks will be completed responsibly.
