Supply Chain Management Senior Advisor

What you'll achieve As a Supply Chain Management Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and integrating the flow of materials and information among suppliers, operations/manufacturing, distributors and customers. Conduct and/or manage strategic supply chain analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Work closely with other functional areas to develop supply chains for new and existing productsYou will:Manage global system product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete materialCoordinate activities globally to prevent material shortages and react quickly to material shortages Lead multiple varied technology programs; identify and define opportunities for process improvements within the procurement/supply chain functionPartner with Global Commodity Managers for product sourcing decisionsLead World-Wide Procurement and regional extended teams to ensure risk mitigation plan is in place for any identified supply chain risksTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsBachelor's Degree and 8+ years related experienceWorking knowledge of multiple functional areas, including the business processes, tools and how the various functions are connected Problem solving/ analysis skills and resolve issues Demonstrable supplier management and negotiation skillsEffective interpersonal and presentation skills Desirable RequirementsFamiliar with Macro, PowerBI, or other data analytics toolsUnderstanding of global supply chain, manufacturing footprint and logistics capabilities
