Develop and implement supply chain strategies to streamline processes, optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.- Plan, manage and coordinates all procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management, to ensure availability of high-quality ingredients or supplies at competitive prices.- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, utilizing forecasting techniques to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory while maintaining optimal stock levels.- Implement and maintain robust systems and procedures for order processing, inventory tracking, and logistics management.- Analyze current inventory and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and maximize profitability.- Act as an advisory member of the operations and research & development team, providing valuable insights on the availability and cost of supplies and materials.- Work closely with the operations manager and chefs to implement product specifications, ensuring consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness for proposed menus.- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.- Manage logistics processes, including transportation and warehousing to maximize efficiency, ensure on-time delivery to outlets and minimize costs.- Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, such as transportation delays, quality issues, and supplier disruptions.- Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, establishing performance metrics, and driving supplier initiatives to maintain high standards of quality and delivery.- Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for improving supply chain performance.- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations, identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives to enhance performance.- Maintain a healthy and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values.- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in supply chain management, market conditions, and regulatory requirements affecting the supply chain.**Position Requirements**Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a leadership role with 5 years relevant experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the F&B industry.Skills / Competencies:a. Excellent knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends.b. Experience in supplier management, inventory management, production planning, and logistics coordination.c.
