MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLEThis position leads the inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting and customer service activities to limit costs and improve efficiency and operation process. It also drives the monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) Planning Process for assigned product lines, including development & implementation of strategies to support product launch planning, inventory & obsolescence management, product rationalization and monitoring of key demand planning performance indicators.Main ResponsibilitiesDemand Planning & ForecastingLead monthly S&OP review meetings and challenge the assumptions and numbers provided in the analysis to solicit functional knowledge to improve forecast accuracy.Submit periodic Net Requirement Forecast through SAP, based on cross-functional discussions, analyses on sales forecast, new product launches, phase-In/out schedule, etc.Work closely with sales and marketing teams, regulatory, global planning, finance, and local supply chain team striving to provide and accurate demand signal.Supply PlanningGenerate POs and manage it by system. Minimize manual processHandle Sales Order and shipments, liaising closely with Distributor, regulatory, both regional and global planning to secure the allocation.Follow up and expedite shipment with manufacturing centers.Inventory Planning and ControlMonitor excess or aged stocks by connecting sales & marketing on clearance plan and RCA as well as warehouse on execution to minimize the write offEnsure all SOPs are in place and comply with procedure detailedMonitor DOH and drive DOH reductionMonitor backorder and Line Fill RateManage stakeholders when there is a crisis on supply and give solution to minimize exposure riskDistributor ManagementTo support in the performance management of Abbottâs distributor with scheduled and timely monitoringReportingEnsure all reports (regional monthly Demand Forecast File, DOH inventory report, Inventory Aging report, Monthly KPI report and out-of-stock report) are submitted on timeMaintain forecasts and planning factors in demand planning systemContinuous ImprovementExecute continuous improvement of forecasting process while maintaining costs and scrap rate at appropriate levelDrive inventory optimization, freight and DOH for cost savingOther Functions & ResponsibilitiesRequired to pass the trade compliance and be Abbott certified classifierExecute the job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of AbbottPrepare for Audits, Compliances, etc., DocumentationsEnsure applicable SOP of Abbott executed.Backup Customer Service/ Freight & Distribution functions and when required.Ad hoc projectsMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENBachelorâs Degree or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is an added advantage At least 10 years of working experience in similar rolesStrong analytical capability and planning skillDemonstrates ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written & presentation skill) in EnglishExcellent interpersonal skills to handle issues impacting the balance of supply and demandAble to work independently and as part of teamAble to organize and prioritize workDemonstrates computer literacy with high numerical accuracy in supply chain management
